On November 18th, BYD's 10 millionth electrified vehicle was rolled off the production line at its Shenwan factory in China, marking the company's 30th anniversary this year. The 10 millionth new energy vehicle is the Denza Z9, and the first owner of this vehicle is Mr. Feng Ji, founder and CEO of Game Science and producer of Black Myth: Wukong. Notably, it has been less than two months since the production of BYD's 9 millionth electrified vehicle.

The Denza Z9 officially launched during the Guangzhou Auto Show, offering five variants with a price range of 334,800 to 414,800 RMB. The Denza Z9 is a large-size sedan and the flagship model of the brand. The car adopts a Corona design language, with dimensions of 5220/1990/1500 (1518) mm in length, width, and height, respectively, and a wheelbase of 3125 mm. The rear features horizontally arranged taillights, presenting a small fastback style. The interior design largely follows the current Denza Z9 GT, with minor adjustments in details, such as the addition of a new gearshift design.

Additionally, the repositioning of the gearshift mechanism has made the headrest area more cohesive, likely increasing storage space. In terms of powertrain, the new car will be available in both pure electric and plug-in hybrid versions. The pure electric model, which is the one being announced, is equipped with three motors, delivering a maximum power of 230/240/240 kW, with a total motor power of 710 kW. The plug-in hybrid version offers a total motor power of 640 kW, paired with a 2.0T turbocharged engine that provides 207 horsepower (152 kW) of maximum power. The top speeds are 240 km/h for the electric version and 230 km/h for the plug-in hybrid. The plug-in hybrid has a maximum range of 1,100 km, while the pure electric all-wheel-drive version has a range of 630 km.

Denza has officially announced its entry into the Thai market, making it the fourth market in the Asia-Pacific region, following Hong Kong, Cambodia, and Singapore. Denza launched the MPV model, the Denza D9, in Thailand, including the Premium-AWD version. The brand plans to open five dealerships in key areas of Thailand and aims to establish ten sales outlets by the end of the year.
