Recently, a set of spy photos of the right-hand drive version of BYD Yangwang U8 was taken by a blogger on Chinese social media. The vehicle appeared near the BYD factory in Xi'an, China, indicating that this luxury SUV with a price tag of one million RMB will be exported to right-hand drive overseas markets, including Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, and other places in China.

Yangwang is a luxury electric vehicle brand under BYD, which was launched in January 2023. Its brand logo is derived from the ancient Chinese characters of oracle bone inscription, "thunder" or "electricity".
