We have previously reported that BYD will launch a more entry-level model of the YUAN family, namely the YUAN UP, and recently, the YUAN UP has officially been launched on the Chinese market. It will form a sister model with the YUAN PLUS (ATTO 3), although this cute SUV was not present at this year's Bangkok Auto Show by BYD.
BYD YUAN UP officially goes on sale, with 3 models priced at 96,800-119,800 RMB (about 488000-604000 Thai baht). The front of the car uses a closed design. The upper part is connected with LED headlights on both sides with a bright black trim panel, while the lower part is the lower grille with two geometric chrome trim bars. There are vents-like designs on both sides of the edge. The streamlined design of LED headlights, with two L-shaped daytime running light groups inside, and an L-shaped daytime running light group on the lower edge of the headlight, which has a modern feel overall.

The body's waistline is very smooth, and at the same time, it adopts a floating roof shape. At the side skirt, you can see a black bumper similar to the front bumper, with chrome trim similar to the front grille. Secondly, it is equipped with semi-hidden door handles, and the front and rear black wheel arches are decorated with white paint. Finally, the body has low-resistance two-tone wheel hubs, equipped with 215/60 R17 Chaoyang SU318 tires, which are road tires specially designed for urban SUVs.

The rear bumper is equipped with a black bumper that is more exaggerated than the front bumper, and the bottom is edged with chrome metal.
The interior design follows the simplistic family design route, with dark and light colors creating a visual boundary. The flat-bottomed three-spoke multifunction steering wheel controls multimedia and driving assistance functions on each side, with the word "Yuan" engraved in the middle. The style of the all-LCD dashboard is similar to other BYD models, and the middle can display energy consumption, tire pressure, and race mode, etc. In addition, the photographed model is equipped with a HUD head-up display, which can display driving assistance functions in addition to regular speed.
The floating central control screen in the car supports flip vertical screen mode, using BYD's latest DiLink, which supports online navigation, online music, Himalaya, cloud listening, and so on. It also has a built-in BYD application market, and one who needs it can download and add it later. Finally, the roof is equipped with a one-piece panoramic sunroof with a large lighting area and an electric sunshade.
The front row uses a one-piece seat design, and the surface texture design is very high-end. More important, the two front seats both support electric adjustment functions. The rear seats continue the texture design of the front seats, equipped with three independent headrests and an armrest in the center, while the floor is a completely flat design. Although there is no central air outlet for the rear row, it is replaced by two USB charging ports.
