GWM Launches Jingang POER 8AT Model in the Chinese Market

On March 29, the new model of Jingang POER which is available in GWM China's market was launched. The biggest highlight of this model is the adoption of the ZF 8AT gearbox. Currently, the Jingang POER 8AT version is officially on the market, and all the new models on the market are equipped with a 2.0T+8AT power combination. The official guide price is 9.98-12.68 ten thousand RMB (approximately 502000-638000 baht).

The new car continues the classic elements of the current model in its exterior design. Its polygonal grille design coupled with robust black trims creates a strong sense of power. The headlight group connected to the front grill undergoes a blackened treatment. The lower surround adopts a three-section design, and the shape of the fog lamps and air intakes is rugged. The silver-gray anti-abrasion board on the front bumper highlights the hard-core off-road style.

The sidelines are relatively straight and feature a classic double-row design. The fender and side skirt parts have a solid style while the tail design is simple and generous, with the vertical tail light group having a strong three-dimensional structure. The rear bumper doubles as a boarding ladder.

The 8AT model will offer three choices: standard box version, long box version, and flat box version. Different versions vary in body size and cargo box size to meet the needs of different consumers.

In terms of interior, the new model adopts a family design style, and is equipped with a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, full LCD dashboard, floating center control screen, and electronic gear lever. It also uses a lot of soft materials for wrapping.

Lastly, in terms of power, the new car continues to carry a 2.0T diesel engine or a 2.0T gasoline engine, with a maximum horsepower of 163PS and 190PS respectively, and a maximum torque of 400N·m and 360N·m respectively. The transmission system is changed to an 8-speed automatic transmission, and two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive is provided. For the suspension part, a common front double-wishbone independent suspension + rear leaf spring non-independent suspension combination is adopted.
