Recently, Geely officially released the official pictures of its new mid-size SUV - Galaxy Starship 7, and announced that it is named "Galaxy Starship 7". This new car not only continues the Galaxy family-style design language, but also carries Geely's new generation of Thor super hybrid technology, marking another important layout of Geely in the new energy field.

From the official pictures, the exterior design of the Galaxy Starship 7 is full of technological and futuristic sense. Its front face adopts a closed grille, complemented by a star-ring style light strip that runs across, giving the entire vehicle a highly distinctive appearance. The side of the car body, the straight waistline paired with the front and back raised wheel eyebrow lines, make this car look full of muscle, and the flattening roofline design also provides adequate rear headspace. At the rear of the car, the through taillight group further enhances the car's fashion and sportiness.

In terms of interior, Galaxy Starship 7 also adopts a simple and technologically designed style. The T-shaped layout of the central control panel has straight lines, equipped with a flat-bottomed two-prong multifunction steering wheel, all-liquid crystal instrument, large size central control screen, etc., creating a strong technological atmosphere. In addition, the car is also equipped with practical configurations such as run-through air conditioning vents, suspended speakers, interior ambient lighting, and wireless phone charging to meet current user car needs.

In terms of power, Galaxy Starship 7 is equipped with Geely's latest Thor hybrid technology and a plug-in hybrid power system with a 1.5L engine. The maximum power of the engine is 82 kilowatts, the battery capacity is 19.09kWh, the pure electric cruising range can reach 101km, and the fuel consumption is only 4.85L/100km. This power combination not only provides excellent fuel economy, but also ensures the vehicle's power performance and driving experience.

It is worth noting that Geely has made huge investments in the research and development of intelligent electrification in recent years. It is revealed that Geely's R&D investment has exceeded 200 billion yuan in the past 10 years, and the investment in intelligent electrification R&D in the first half of this year has reached 7 billion yuan. This has enabled Geely to be the first in the global automobile industry to have a complete intelligent technology ecosystem including automobiles, chips, satellites, aircrafts, mobile phones, and large AI models. The application of these technological achievements will undoubtedly further enhance the product strength and competitiveness of Geely's models.

The launch of the Galaxy Starship 7 not only enriches Geely Galaxy series' product line, but also shows Geely's profound foundation in new energy and intelligencem field. In the future, this heavyweight SUV may also go global with Geely's global layout. Its styling design, configuration and space, and intelligent experience can bring a lot of surprises to global consumers. How do you view this new SUV?
