I. What types of fuels are there?

The current types of petrol in the country are RON97, RON95 and diesel. The RON is an abbreviation for Research Octane Number, which translates to octane value. The higher the octane value, the better the anti-knock of the gasoline, that is, the gasoline is less likely to knock when burning in the engine, thereby protecting the engine. Simply put, RON97 gasoline is of higher quality, more stable, and less likely to produce detonation than RON95 gasoline.

II. Choose RON97 or RON95?

The choice between RON97 and RON95 is not a difficult question to think about, but it may not be familiar to novice drivers and people who have not been exposed to cars. Generally, the type of gasoline recommended in the vehicle manual is used as the reference. This is the fuel recommended by the official to best protect the engine. The next thing to consider is the driver's driving habits. If you often drive aggressively, then choosing RON97 can better enhance the performance of the engine and protect the engine.

Finally, there is the consideration of economy. Under normal circumstances, the price of RON97 is generally higher than that of RON95. If your vehicle does not have high requirements for gasoline quality, choosing RON95 can also meet daily use.
