In today's fast-changing technological world, smart cars have become an inevitable trend in the automotive industry. On October 10, Xpeng Motors officially launched its latest model — Xpeng P7+. This car is officially positioned as China's first AI car. It not only has been fully upgraded in design, but also brings many surprises in intelligent driving, interior configuration, and power performance.

Once upon a time, Xpeng P7 was a hot choice among new energy sedans, but its sales have been sluggish due to the increasing competition. Now the upgraded Xpeng P7+ is expected to officially go on sale in the fourth quarter and make its debut at the upcoming 2024 Paris Auto Show. How strong is it?

I. Appearance: Cool Design, Obvious Upgrade

Xpeng P7+ retains the family style of Xpeng car in terms of exterior design, but has undergone a complete upgrade in many details, so thta the changes can be clearly felt compared to the Xpeng P7. For the front face part, the familiar Robot Face design is still highly recognizable. The "X" shape formed by the through-type LED light strip and the lower light group makes the front of the car look sharper and more dynamic.

In terms of body size, Xpeng P7+ is 5056/1937/1512mm in length, width, and height respectively, with a wheelbase of 3000mm. It is currently the largest car in the Xpeng brand. The extended size is conducive to the shaping of space, which is also the focus of the new car's upgrade. On the side of the body, the fastback shape and the double-layer effect formed by the tail spoiler show the outstanding fastback posture, and consider the interior space. At the rear, the simple through-type taillights echo the sporty design of the lower surround, further enhancing the sportiness of the entire vehicle.

II. Interior: Simple Technology and Rich Configuration

Entering the interior of the Xpeng P7+, a simple and tech-savvy atmosphere comes to the sense. The interior uses a 15.6-inch large-size design, built-in Qualcomm 8295P chip, equipped with AI Tianji intelligent system, providing users with a smooth and intelligent interaction experience. There are two 50W wireless charging panels for mobile phones below the control center, allowing users to charge their phones anytime.

In terms of comfort, Xpeng P7+ also performs well. The rear space is spacious, with the seats supporting backrest electric adjustment. All four seats in the vehicle are standard with ventilation, heating, and massage functions. In front of the rear row, there is also an 8-inch screen, which can control the entertainment system, rear seats, air conditioning, etc., bringing a more convenient and comfortable riding experience for passengers.

III. Intelligent Driving: AI Eagle-Eye Vision Intelligent Driving

As China's first AI car, Xpeng P7+ also performs well in intelligent driving. The new car is equipped with a new intelligent driving solution — Xpeng AI Eagle-eye Vision. The scheme has been fully upgraded in terms of perception and recognition speed, with the perception distance increased by 125% and recognition speed by 40%. At the same time, the scheme is the first in the industry to use a single-pixel LOFIC architecture, fearless of complex environments such as low light, backlight, and high light difference, providing users with a safer and more reliable intelligent driving experience.

IV. Power: Efficient Motor, Worry-Free Endurance

In terms of power, Xpeng P7+ also performed excellently. The new car only has a single-motor version, with a maximum power of 180kW and 230kW respectively, and the top speed can reach 200km/h. In terms of pure electric endurance mileage, P7+ is equipped with a lithium iron phosphate battery pack, offering 60.7kWh and 76.3kWh battery packs, with the corresponding pure electric endurance of 620km and 710km respectively. In terms of suspension structure, the new car adopts a front double fork arm and rear multi-link independent suspension, providing users with a more stable and comfortable driving experience.

V. Conclusion

As another masterpiece of Xpeng Motors after MONA M03, Xpeng P7+ not only fully upgraded in design, but also brought many surprises in intelligent driving, interior configuration, and power performance. Also, the leading AI smart car can make many consumers remember this model. In the future, with Xpeng Motors' overseas layout, this model will also meet consumers in Europe and Southeast Asia in succession.

As a blockbuster new car, the launch of Xpeng P7+ will undoubtedly further enhance the brand influence and market competitiveness of Xpeng Motors. If the new car can surprise everyone with its price, we believe that Xpeng P7+ will surely boost further growth to Xpeng Motors' sales and enhance its voice in the new energy vehicle market.
