This car review will focus on the Perodua Ativa.

Power System

Equipped with a 1.0-liter turbocharged engine, mated to a CVT gearbox, the power delivery is excellent, with a 0-100km/h time of 13.2 seconds. Easy cruising on the highway, can easily reach 120km/h or 140km/h.

Fuel Consumption

The test vehicle was not fully run-in, with a mileage of 255km (60% city, 40% highway), calculated to have a fuel consumption of 7.9 liters/100km, while the official claimed fuel consumption is 5.29 liters/100km.

Vehicle Dimensions

Slightly larger than Perodua Myvi, taller. It might appear small at first glance, but the interior space will change this perception.

Interior Configuration

Although soft plastic decoration is not used, it is a slight improvement from previous Perodua models. Lack of Android Auto/Apple CarPlay and built-in map, there is a digital instrument cluster. The red elements of the interior are slightly tacky, lacking a "handbag hook" and built-in Smart Tag reader.

Safety Systems

ASA 3.0 performs well, where Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Keep Assist (LKA) perform well during the day, the smoothness of Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is acceptable in this price range, but it does not perform well at night.

Driving Experience

Excellent power transmission, overtaking is not difficult. Brakes perform average, suitable for daily commuting. Easy to drive, friendly to both new and experienced drivers. Good visibility, but lacks adjustable telescopic steering wheel.

Riding Comfort

Suspension is slightly soft, can absorb bumps well. Seat performance is average, the red color scheme is garish. Cabin noise is acceptable, wind noise and tire noise are not obvious at high speed, but vibrations still enter the cabin at idle and low speed.
