    The 2022 Mazda MX-30 is Mazda's first global EV model, introduced this year by Bermaz Motor, with only one version, 'EV High', priced at RM 198,780 (excluding insurance). It is positioned as a C-class car, sharing a platform with Mazda 3 and CX-30.

    Power System

    Equipped with an e-Skyactiv EV engine, it can produce 145 PS and 271 Nm of power, transmits power to the front wheels through a single-speed automatic transmission, battery capacity is 35.5 kWh, it takes 5 hours to fully charge with a 6.6 kW AC charger, using 40 kW DC fast charging, it can charge from 0% to 80% in 36 minutes.

    After testing, traveling 81.4 km consumes about 46% of the electricity, charging to 90% requires 14.2 kWh, it is estimated that the full charge and reasonable driving can travel about 150 km, the comprehensive energy efficiency is 17.4 kWh/100 km.

    Interior Configurations

    The interior uses sustainable materials, such as recycled cork for the center console, and recycled fabric threads and plastic bottles. It is equipped with an 8.8-inch MZD Connect infotainment system, with commander control knob, supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connections, and a 12-speaker Bose premium sound system. The climate control panel uses a touchscreen, the seats are well supported and comfortable, but the rear headspace may be a bit cramped for some.

    Safety System

    Provides the most comprehensive active and passive safety suite, including 7 safety airbags, ABS, DSC, traction control, etc. Also has adaptive LED headlights, blind spot monitoring, rear cross traffic alert, lane departure warning system, lane keep assist, active cruise control, Mazda intelligent brake support, etc. The CX-30 and MX-30 have added frontal cross traffic alert and driver attention alert, while MX-30 is also equipped with matrix LED high-beams, adaptive cruise control with start-stop and turning assist as well as driver monitoring.
