  • Overview of Cars

The Volvo V60 Recharge T8, launched in January 2022, went on the market with the Inscription top-end level. After the SST was restored, the price rose from RM 286,910 to RM 313,223. It is about RM 10k more expensive than the S60 T8 sedan and about RM 18k cheaper than the XC60 T8 Recharge. It is powered by Volvo's most potent plug-in hybrid engine and has no direct competitors.

    Power System

Equipped with a turbocharged and mechanically supercharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine and rear axle electric motor combination, with a combined output of 407 PS and 640 Nm of torque, it accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.6 seconds and has a top speed of 180 km/h.

    Body Size

The trunk space of the V60 T8 is 519 litres, the S60 is 442 litres, and the XC60 is 505 litres.

    Interior Configuration

There are two interior options, including Maroon Brown seats and Charcoal Moritz black interior, paired with a blonde headliner and eye-catching Driftwood Decor inlays. The Orrefors crystal shift knob is exquisite. The 9-inch vertical touchscreen supports Apple CarPlay/Android Auto. The seats are comfortable with good support, but the rear space is cramped and the central aisle is high.

    Driving Experience

Power delivery is smooth, torque is powerful, and acceleration is fast. Steering is well-weighted, brakes are excellent, the suspension can handle road bumps, straight-line driving is balanced, but body roll is noticeable during cornering.

    Volvo V60 Pros and Cons
