    • Overview of the series

    The Lexus ES 250 F Sport is the top model in the series.

    Appearance

    Compared to the pre-facelift, the changes are subtle, with some revisions to the headlights, and the grille on the F Sport version is the same as in overseas markets. The exterior is decorated in black/dark chrome, with larger wheel spacing. The overall shape is sharp and handsome.

    Interior

    The interior is decorated with red leather, which some people do not like, but others think some designs are good, such as the simulation clock, movable metal ring, etc. The interior materials are superior, with exquisite details. The 12.3-inch infotainment display is a touch screen that easily leaves fingerprints. F Sport lacks some features, such as three-zone climate control, etc. In terms of space, legroom is excellent, headroom is acceptable.

    Power system

    The driving experience is soothing, with excellent steering tuning and relaxed throttle response. In sport mode, the engine speed is higher, and acceleration is average, lacking low-end torque.

    The driving position is precise, the brake tuning is suitable for smooth stopping, the body posture is good during cornering, the control is precise, and the chassis is tight.

    Riding Comfort

    The revised F Sport version is harder than the pre-facelift Luxury version, especially when going through sharp sections. The 19-inch rims and thin tires are one of the reasons, the impact is obvious, but the filtering of minor imperfections is excellent, and it performs well on larger undulating sections. For seats, sport seats are harder, rear seats are softer than the front. The car has excellent sound insulation.

    Lexus ES Pros and Cons

    Pros

    The exterior design is stylish and eye-catching
    The internal configuration is rich
    The ride is smooth, the interior is super quiet, and the hybrid model is very fuel-efficient

    Cons

    Due to the low posture of the body, some people may have difficulty getting in and out of the car
    The central control panel looks outdated
    No V-6 which results in sluggish performance, the F Sport model is not attractive enough, the rear seats cannot be folded

    Conclusion

    ES pleases when accomplishing its luxury transport mission, but attempts to provide a more sporty driving experience can sometimes be hindered
