  • Overview of the Series

Mercedes-Benz GLB series has 3 models, all imported from Mexico (CBU), namely GLB 200, GLB 250 and the top-tier model GLB 35. The lower-end models are equipped with 7 seats, while the GLB 35 excludes the third row of seats.

    Power System

The GLB 35 is equipped with the M260 2.0-liter turbocharged engine, with a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of 5.5 seconds in real-world testing. While this is slightly slower than the claimed 5.2 seconds, the test was conducted in the heat of the afternoon. The engine delivers relatively strong power output, and you can feel the buildup of power during acceleration. However, in terms of AMG standards, its characteristics are not particularly outstanding; there is no popping or knocking sound, and the acceleration is quite smooth.

    Fuel Consumption

During a 99.4 km trip, about 60% of which was on highways and 40% in urban driving, the car consumed 9.34 liters of fuel to fill the tank. This results in a fuel consumption of 9.4 liters per 100 km, while the onboard computer showed an average fuel consumption of 9.7 liters per 100 km. Considering its size and weight, this fuel consumption performance is quite good.

    Interior Configuration

The interior design of the GLB 35 is similar to that of the A-class, with stunning elements such as the turbine-like vents, dual wide-screen display, ambient lighting, etc. The ambient lighting effect is outstanding, like a disco ball or a spa center. The display is clear with good refresh rate and response time. The UI's graphics are easy to understand. The interior space is relatively spacious. For someone 177 cm tall, there's more than 2 tennis balls' worth of space in the knee and head area in the rear row. However, there is a creaking noise around the door handle and a noise when the boot cover is retracted.
