  • Overview of the Series

The Proton X90 is a model under the Proton brand, whose mission is to achieve success in the large SUV field.

    Power System

The X90 uses a 48V mild hybrid (MHEV) system, combined with a 1.5-liter turbocharged three-cylinder (TGDI) engine and a small electric motor. It has a power data of 190 PS and 300 Nm, but with a noticeable delay in acceleration, and the 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCT) is reluctant to downshift.

    Body Dimensions

The Proton X90 is Proton's largest SUV to date, with an approximate length of 4835mm, a width of 1900mm, a height of 1785mm, and a wheelbase of 2815mm. It is slightly shorter than the Mazda CX-8 but wider and taller.

    Interior Configurations

The interior space is well packaged, with enough storage space and connectivity ports. It is equipped with a large sunroof (only in the flagship version), and four ventilated heating seats, but the overall feel is slightly inferior to the X50 or X70, and some of the materials and decorations look cheaper.

    Safety System

It is equipped with up to 14 ADAS features, including some features that Proton has applied for the first time. Such as automatic emergency braking (AEB), lane keeping assist (LKA), intelligent cruise control (ICC) etc.
