Overview

The Honda CR-V is the default choice for family SUVs. Its main market is the United States, and the current model is larger than before, surpassing its main competitors.

Interior Configuration

The charm of the Honda CR-V lies in its functionality and interior configuration. The ergonomics of the interior are excellent, the control layout is neat, easy to operate, and user-friendly. ADAS functions are easy to operate, adaptive cruise control and lane keeping assist can be easily switched. There are comfortable leather knee pads, a large central console, good integration with Android Auto/Apple CarPlay, and four USB ports. The door panels in the car are thin, the rear seats can be folded flat, the interior materials are good, and wrapped in soft leather.

Power System

The Honda CR-V 1.5 TC-P has excellent straight-line performance, with a 0-100km/h time of 8.9 seconds. The power is strong when driving in a straight line, but the performance in corners is average. In contrast, the Proton X70 has better cornering control, and the Mazda CX-5 is the best handling of the three.

Fuel Consumption

The Honda CR-V is a fuel-efficient SUV, with an average highway fuel consumption of about 5.5 liters/100 kilometers, often exceeding 10 liters/100 kilometers in city congestion, and about 9 liters/100 kilometers in combined conditions, which is more fuel-efficient than the Proton X70.

Ride Comfort

The ride feel is soft, and it absorbs uneven road surfaces well. The seat performance is average, the rear space is spacious, and can accommodate three child seats. However, the trunk space has been reduced, and the noise is relatively high when driving at high speeds, in this respect the Proton X70 performs better.
