Power System

It is equipped with the Earth Dreams Technology 4-cylinder engine, featuring direct fuel injection with a compression ratio of 11.5:1. The engine delivers a maximum output of 118 horsepower at 6,600 rpm and a peak torque of 155 Nm at 4,600 rpm. The powertrain ensures that throttle response is no longer overly sensitive, with the CVT transmission offering smooth shifts. The abruptness at startup is eliminated, and power is released in a more linear fashion as the throttle is pressed. During daily driving, engine speed is generally maintained around 1,500 rpm. The higher trims come with an automatic engine start-stop system, which is well-established and helps reduce fuel consumption. In D mode, the transmission does not actively raise engine speed. Only with partial or full throttle input does the CVT transmission noticeably change the cone pulley ratio, increasing engine speed to 3,000 rpm, providing sufficient power for acceleration and overtaking. In S mode, the engine speed is maintained around 3,000 rpm, offering quicker and more direct throttle response. With the high-angle camshaft engaged, the acceleration performance surpasses that of competitors in the same class.
