Overview of the series

Hyundai Sime Darby Malaysia launched the Hyundai Palisade facelift model in January 2023, retaining 4 models with 7-seat and 8-seat configurations. The prices of each model have increased by about 40,000 ringgit compared to the previous model launched at the end of 2021. The prices are as follows: 2.2 diesel 8-seater: 368,888 ringgit; 3.8 GDI 8-seater: 378,888 ringgit; 2.2 diesel 7-seater: 389,888 ringgit; 3.8 GDI 7-seater: 399,888 ringgit. The new facelift adopts the "Parametric Jewel" design language, with a new front end, 20-inch alloy wheels, updated rear bumper, and skid plates.

Power system

The car is equipped with a 3.8-liter naturally aspirated V6 engine, with a power of 295 PS and a torque of 355 Nm. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission, front-wheel drive, the 0-100 km/h acceleration only takes 8.6 seconds.

Fuel consumption

In the fuel efficiency test in mixed conditions (50% highway and 50% city), covering 147.9 kilometers, and consumed 18.63 liters of fuel, the combined fuel efficiency is 12.59 liters/100 kilometers.

Body dimensions

After the facelift, the new model's head is 20 mm longer and the tail is 5 mm shorter.

Interior configuration

Interior updates include a redesigned dashboard, new multi-spoke steering wheel, 12.3-inch infotainment screen (new user interface, split-screen, and multi-Bluetooth connectivity features), standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, larger 2.6-inch head-up display, upgraded 3-amp USB charging ports. The seats are comfortable and the interior space is spacious, but the 2-seat configuration in the second row is not ideal for families.

Safety system

All series are equipped with the Hyundai SmartSense ADAS suite, including intelligent cruise control, blind spot collision prevention assist, rear cross-traffic collision prevention assist, lane keeping assist, lane following assist, forward collision prevention assist, multi-collision braking system, high beam assist, and leading vehicle departure alert etc.
