    The 2023 KIA Sorento 2.2D AWD is a D-segment series car with a price range from RM 211k to RM 255k, and the top configuration is at RM 255,228. It is equipped with a 2.2L inline 4-cylinder turbocharged engine and an 8-speed dual clutch transmission.

    Power System

    Its power system consists of a 2.2-liter turbocharged diesel engine and an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission. The power response is direct, and the shifting is fast. The torque of the engine can be fully utilized. The all-wheel drive system can play a role when accelerating from a standstill, 0 - 100km/h takes 8.77 seconds. In sport mode, the steering is heavier, and the power system is more active. However, the throttle response is delayed at low speeds, and the performance of the dual-clutch transmission is not good under congested road conditions.

    Fuel Consumption

    Under 60/40 highway and city mixed driving conditions, its fuel consumption test is 8.1 liters/100 kilometers, and the vehicle computer shows an average of 8.2 liters/100 kilometers. Compared with Mazda CX - 8 2.2D AWD's 9.1 liters/100 kilometers under similar conditions, the performance is excellent.

    Body Size

    The overall size is large, the width is 1900 millimeters, which is taller than the previous model. It is equipped with 19-inch wheels and 235/55 R19 tires, but the rear door is longer, and it may be inconvenient to open in narrow parking spaces.

    Interior Configuration

    The interior is modern, spacious, with excellent texture and reasonable material selection. The 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system is clear and easy to use, and the digital dashboard has a high refresh rate. The center console storage solution is excellent, but the door storage compartment is small, especially in the back row. The second row of seats uses a 2 + 2 + 2 layout, and the seating experience is not good.

    Safety System

    The adaptive cruise control can assist driving at any speed, but I hope the system can remember the last setting.
